Welcome to the CSD COTS Main Page! COTS for 2008 will be held at the following locations and dates this fall: Saturday Nov. 8 - Lawrence KS - University of Kansas Continuing Education Center Saturday Nov. 15 - Sioux Falls SD - Southeast Technical Institute Each session will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 6:30 PM All classes have undergone additional tuning since last year in that each session will contain 4 hours of core instruction and 4 hours of advanced instruction to allow officers to attend other sessions. New classes are being evaluated for addition to the curriculum, including bulletin editor, recruitment basics, program planning, and strategic planning. Special emphasis will be placed this year in having significant time for all board members to work together on chapter planning. The projected cost is $35 per person with hotel rooms in the vicinity for those chapters wishing to arrive early. I am in discussions with the Illinois district to hold a joint COTS session in St. Louis sometime in January '09, pending finding a location and securing faculty. I'll post more information for this session as it develops.
